The hotel has a fantastic location right next to restaurants, including nice ones and pubs. the staff is very accommodating and welcoming. - the rooms are spacious, well-heated, and come with huge beds.

By and large, it was delightful place with attentive staff on the reception desk.

The hotel was in the central setting by the canal.

Had a very nice stay at St Andrews Town Hotel with my children. the staff were accommodating and very welcoming. - Everything was perfect, including the delicious dishes. - Nearby, you can visit the Impney Restaurant and Bar.

This hotel appears to lack adequate noise insulation between rooms, which meant we were all too aware of the couple staying in the room above us, and could hear their conversations in the daytime and everything else at night. The day time was OK in view of everything else and the hotel being such good value but I could not have coped with the intrusive noises for more than one night.

The hotel is an attractive virginia creeper-covered building with mature, well-kept gardens back and front in a very quiet location and yet only 5 minutes walk away from the town centre. The public areas have been nicely re-furbished and there is a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. My twin room and bathroom were both large and airy. To my regret, I didn't get a chance to sample the restaurant menu. As a solo female guest I was well looked after, which added to the enjoyment of my stay. I particularly liked the chickens in the back garden whose clucking added to the sense of relaxation.

The room could do with a bit of updating but this is purely an aesthetic criticism - in practical terms It had everything one could need for one's stay.

The room was spacious, warm, and the bed was comfortable.
